Freelance exit roadmap
Stop losing 20% to platforms: the six-part plan to take your freelance clients direct
A deliberate exit from marketplace fees. Six worksheets. PDF and EPUB. Built around the off-platform paths the platforms already allow.

What changes when you own the relationship
- Keep the 20% you currently pay in marketplace fees
- Contract the same clients on terms you write
- Stop ranking for work you already delivered well
- Build a pipeline that is not a search result
Six worksheets, one exit
- 01
Map the platform exits
List the off-platform paths your marketplace already allows, so you stop guessing what would get you banned.
- 02
Inventory your current clients
See who is worth moving, who is platform-only, and who you can let go without hurting cash flow.
- 03
Write the direct-contract offer
Turn your existing gig into a simple agreement you own: scope, rate, and how you get paid.
- 04
Sequence the first conversations
Scripts and timing for asking a client to work with you directly, without violating platform rules.
- 05
Replace the marketplace pipeline
A weekly outreach and referral loop so new work does not depend on ranking or ads on the platform.
- 06
Run the 90-day exit calendar
A dated plan for fees, contracts, and cash so you leave on purpose instead of in a panic.

Questions
Does this tell me to break a platform’s Terms of Service?
No. The plan is built around exits the marketplaces themselves permit: ending a contract, taking work off-platform after the relationship is allowed to move, and building new clients outside the marketplace. It does not coach you to dodge fees, fake profiles, or contact buyers in ways the platform forbids.
How do I contract clients directly without getting banned?
You wait until the platform’s own rules allow it, then you send a plain contract you own. The worksheets walk through what most major freelance sites allow, what they do not, and a checklist so you do not mix the two.
What do I actually download?
A six-part written plan plus six worksheets, delivered as PDF and EPUB in Files after checkout.
Is this a course or coaching?
Neither. It is a short, practical guide you can work through on your own. No live calls, no community requirement.
